This Privacy Policy describes how StudyStreak ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app on your Android device.
StudyStreak is a fully offline study session tracker. We are committed to protecting your privacy. In plain terms: we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect no information whatsoever.
All data you enter into StudyStreak — including study sessions, subject names, notes, durations, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using the device's local database (Room/SQLite) and SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.
3. Internet and Network Access
StudyStreak does not require an internet connection and does not make any network requests. The app has no internet permission declared in its manifest.
There is no communication with any server, cloud service, analytics platform, or third-party service of any kind.
4. Third-Party Services
StudyStreak does not integrate any third-party services, including:
- Analytics or crash reporting tools
- Advertising networks or SDKs
- Social media platforms
- Cloud storage or sync services
- Payment processors
No third-party code in the app has access to your data.
5. Device Permissions
StudyStreak requests no special device permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage (external), or any other sensitive device feature.
6. Children's Privacy
StudyStreak is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Because the app collects no personal information and requires no account or internet access, it does not pose privacy risks to any age group.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
All data stored by the app lives in your device's local storage. You can delete all app data at any time by:
- Going to Settings → Apps → StudyStreak → Clear Data on your device
- Uninstalling the app, which removes all associated data
We have no access to this data and cannot retrieve or restore it on your behalf.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Any future update that introduces data collection will be clearly disclosed before it takes effect.
